Millennium Management's stake in Churchill Capital Corp XI (CCXI), the SPAC merging with humanoid robot maker Agility Robotics, is down to 1,490,636 shares from 2,224,879, according to a Schedule 13G/A filed July 31. The fund now reports 3.6% of the class, below the 5% line. BlueCrest disclosed a new 5.6% stake two days after the deal was announced.

Bloomberg reported Friday that Moonshot AI runs Kimi on about 20,000 Nvidia chips rented from Alibaba, its own 36% shareholder. Alibaba is cleared to buy 75,000 H200s and has taken almost none of them, so the contracted fleet is old stock. What K3 actually trained on is a separate question, and White House science director Michael Kratsios has already given his answer.

The Nasdaq's six-day losing streak ended at exactly six, which our own history piece said was the single most likely outcome. Bloomberg and Reuters both name Ken Griffin's Citadel as the buyer of Situational Awareness's stock book, and both say bulk, not all. CNBC said the entire public book went in one block to one buyer. A Form 4 on the SharonAI (SHAZ) stake is due Aug. 3, an initial 13D or 13G from Citadel on Aug. 6, and the fund's own quarterly report on Aug. 14.

The fund reached $24 billion near its highs and ran leverage of as much as four times. Its last public filing shows 62% of a $13.68 billion book was bets against chip stocks, and the stocks it owned outright fell twice as far.

Microsoft held its capital spending outlook near $190 billion, grew Azure 43% and rose 7.6% after hours. Meta raised its capex range by $10 billion at the low end, missed on earnings at $6.18 against a $7.14 estimate, and fell 9.0%. The market stopped scoring hyperscalers on capex announcements and started scoring them on whether the revenue arrives. That is a better setup for Nvidia, Broadcom and Taiwan Semiconductor than another spending headline, though it does nothing about the memory supply problem that actually caused July.

The Nasdaq Composite closed lower for a sixth straight session on July 29, finishing at 24,442.94, down 5.4% over the run and 9.8% below its June record. It has happened 85 times since 1971. One month after those streaks the index gained a median 1.5%, which is exactly what a random month returns, and at three months it actually underperformed. The averages hide everything: every streak from 2000 to 2002 was followed by heavy losses, and every streak after 2009 by gains.
