AI GPU arrives in weeks. The power gear behind it takes years: GE Vernova (GEV), Vertiv (VRT), Eaton (ETN), Quanta (PWR) and Powell (POWL)

The chip is the easy part. Data centers are stuck waiting on turbines, transformers and switchgear that take years to build. Here's what GE Vernova, Vertiv, Eaton, Quanta and Powell each sell into that shortage, and how big their order books have gotten.

Jim Cramer's tech calls are still lagging the rest of his book. Intel is 1 for 5, and IBM crashed the day after his second buy call.

Jim Cramer's tech calls are still his weak spot. Intel is 1 for 5 since June, IBM is down nearly 30% since his back-to-back buy calls, and his tech picks trail the Nasdaq-100 by more than three points a call even after Tuesday's chip bounce.

New York froze new data centers for a year, and TeraWulf just became the day's biggest loser because of it. Nebius, close behind, has nothing to do with New York.

Governor Hochul signed a first-in-the-nation moratorium on new hyperscale data centers today, and TeraWulf (WULF) fell 6.7%, the hardest hit in the group, because it owns exactly the kind of project the order targets. Nebius (NBIS) fell almost as much, and Digital Realty (DLR) also dropped on real New York exposure, but Nebius and CoreWeave (CRWV) have nothing to do with Albany.

Chips got smoked today. Tomorrow's CPI report at 8:30am decides what happens next.

Arm, Coherent, Micron, AMD and Nvidia fell between 3.5% and 7.5% Monday while Microsoft, Apple and Amazon finished green. The selling stayed inside crowded AI infrastructure names. Tuesday's 8:30am CPI report could send the same stocks sharply either way, and the real risk isn't even in the data yet.

We built a stock score tool. It gave Intel a D, and I bought the stock anyway.

One pick in every layer of the AI hardware stack, each one graded by the SEC-filings scoring tool we just built. Four picks agree with the tool: NVDA, WDC, TSM, VRT. Micron is a partial. INTC and COHR do not agree with the tool at all, and I am holding both anyway.
