Stock Scorer
C59/100
  • Profitability13/20

Profitable but shrinking: $842.9M over the last four reported quarters, down from $1.24B the year before.

  • Insider buying vs selling11/20

Insiders are sellers only: 38 sells worth $27.9M, no open-market buys, across the last 20 Form 4s. Routine executive selling is common, so this is only a mild negative. Separately, 1 new 5%+ stake disclosure (13D/13G) hit in the last 6 months, which is big-money accumulation.

  • Dilution and offerings1/15

Share count up 22.2% in a year and 1 offering-related filing. Heavy dilution. One nuance: offerings raise cash that can fund real growth. The score docks the certain near-term dilution; if the spending pays off, it shows up later in the profitability component.

Anthropic says it never asked to ban open-weight AI. Dario Amodei does want China cut off from Nvidia (NVDA) chips.

Dario Amodei answered the Nvidia-hosted open-weights letter on July 27, three days after Anthropic became the only major AI lab to skip it. He says a ban was never the ask. What he does want is China cut off from US chips, a crackdown on industrial-scale distillation, and mandatory safety testing for every capable model, open or closed.
