Purchases from the last 12 months are excluded because their window has not closed yet.

AMD insider sells $7.7 million near the stock's peak, but there's more to the story
AMD's chief sales officer, Paul Darren Grasby, sold $7.72 million of stock on Aug. 17 with no 10b5-1 plan behind it. It looks alarming until you notice it's his fifth open-market sale in a year.
For the first time, more money is going into running AI than building it. What that means for Nvidia (NVDA), Broadcom (AVGO), Marvell (MRVL) and AMD
Inference, running AI models, now costs more than training them, and that rewards custom chips and memory over raw GPUs. Here's what it means for Nvidia, Broadcom, Marvell, AMD and Micron.

Congressman Tony Wied sold up to $250,000 worth of AMD stock and loaded up on software stocks
Wisconsin Rep. Tony Wied sold up to $250,000 of AMD on June 3, then bought Adobe (ADBE), Salesforce (CRM), ServiceNow, HubSpot and The Trade Desk six days later. His February filing showed the same move out of chips and into software.

AMD gave Meta and OpenAI warrants on 320 million shares at a penny. They're now worth about $152 billion.
AMD issued Meta and OpenAI warrants on 160 million shares apiece at an exercise price of $0.01, vesting on 6 GW of Instinct shipments and a $600 share price. At Friday's close the pair is worth about $152 billion against $3.2 million to exercise. AMD's Q1 10-Q says none of it has vested or touched the financial statements yet.

The options market expects AMD to move $46 after earnings Tuesday. Its last two earnings reports moved even more.
AMD reports second quarter results Tuesday after the close. Analysts expect $1.61 a share on $11.31 billion, and the Aug. 5 straddle prices a 9.7% move. The last two reports moved the stock 17.3% and 18.6%. In February AMD beat on both lines and fell anyway, on guidance.

If I had $1,000 for one AI chip stock, I'd buy SK Hynix (SKHY) over Nvidia (NVDA), Micron (MU) and AMD
Nvidia and SK Group signed a $500 billion AI infrastructure deal late Friday night, after both New York and Seoul had closed for the week. Given $1,000 for one of the four AI chip stocks, I'd put it in SK Hynix, which trades at 5.6 times forward earnings even after its 28% ADR premium against 6.4 for Micron.

Micron (MU), SK Hynix and AMD just gave chip stocks their first back-to-back gain in two weeks (July 21, 2026)
Micron (MU) closed up about 12 percent, SK Hynix's ADR about 14 percent, and AMD 8 percent Tuesday, chip stocks' first back-to-back gain in two weeks. A Bank of America upgrade on memory demand and a new AMD-Microsoft Azure deal did the heavy lifting.

Nasdaq rebounds before Nvidia (NVDA) earnings, with options pricing a $313 billion swing in the stock
The Nasdaq rose about 0.7% Tuesday, recovering Monday's chip-led drop, one day before Nvidia reports. Wall Street expects about $92 billion in revenue, double a year ago.

Nvidia (NVDA) fell six straight days. Earnings will test the $775 billion AI spending boom.
Nvidia enters its Aug. 26 earnings report on a six-session losing streak, its longest since 2022. It has beaten EPS estimates for 14 quarters straight, and the stock still fell the next day six of the last eight times.

Meta (META) gets $855 price target despite a 91% free cash flow drop
Meta (META) raised its 2026 AI capex guidance to $130-145 billion and free cash flow fell 91% last quarter to $784 million. BNP Paribas and Erste Group both still rate the stock a buy, betting the spending turns into ad and cloud revenue.
